They allow like-minded professionals share knowledge and resources, address issues affecting service delivery, advocate for professionals and service users, and provide leadership. They are an invaluable source of information and support to speech & language therapists working around the country.

IASLT also launched its first Community of Practice in 2022 - Supporting Emotions with Aphasia: An Interdisciplinary Community of Practice (SEA COP). The SEA Community of Practice (CoP) is an innovative interdisciplinary collaboration of like-minded professionals who want to improve access to psychological support for people with aphasia.
